Loss Control is the cornerstone supporting the workers' compensation team. The goal of loss control is to assist members in minimizing employee injury, workers' compensation claims and associated costs.

This is accomplished through specific program development for the healthcare industry. A facility survey is conducted yearly or with new members to record physical hazards within the facility, and to determine compliance with OSHA required programs and other safety related guidelines and legislation. Service objectives, based on the results of the survey, are determined through consultation with the member. Assistance is provided through sample programs, training, and educational seminars reflecting federal and state regulations and industry standards.
